With a signal lodged at 93.6 fm on frequency modulation, CLR has being operational since January 5 2000, it is located at number 1 Kairaba avenue, at the heart of the most dynamic diplomatic business settlement area of the Gambia, a position that ensures its visibility and accessibility.
Equipped with a state of the art tods and staff by a professional and versatile person, CLR93.6 FM is well known to be nurturing since its inception the big paradox of being a private media institution facing a challenge of its operational in a sustainable manner while fulfilling the promise expressed out of our consultation with the general public relatively to their expectation in terms of entertainment and information.
We cover 2/3 of Gambia and have to reach to some parts of the sub-region given the longitudinal shape of the country. CLR programs are interactive at 80%, it covers development friendly areas; and traditional medicine, spiritual, also sports, democracy and human rights you n the laws and other programs with similar impact in the overall social-economic development of the Gambia. We offer 55%entertainment 20% education, 15% spiritual, the other 10% goes to other areas as mention above. We broadcast 20hours per day in average and ensure services for and by other African brothers and sisters residing in Gambia such as Nigerians (Ogar Wazobia Monday 8-9 am) Ghanians (Akwaba Tuesday 8-9 am) Sierra Leonian ( Kriowan pot Saturdays8-11 am) Fulah (Dande Lenol Thursday 3-5 pm) and many more other very original and inclusive programs as our motto tells it well “City Limited Radio, PUTTING AFRICANS TOGETHER.
